Important: The CQ7-S Slave battery cannot operate alone. Every CQ7 stack requires 1x CQ7-M Master battery, with Slave batteries added to reach the required capacity.
Battery sizing varies by inverter: Single-phase H1-G2, AC1-G2 and KH systems require 2-7 batteries. Three-phase H3 Smart systems require 3-12 batteries; H3 Pro requires 4-12 batteries per stack and supports up to 2 stacks; and H3 Plus requires 4-14 batteries per stack and supports up to 3 stacks. Each stack requires its own Master battery.

Depending on your property’s earthing arrangement, additional protection may be required to comply with current UK wiring regulations.
This may include:
- A PEN Fault Protection Device (such as the Matt:e SP-EVCP-T)
- An isolating transformer
- A TT earthing arrangement
Your installer will determine the appropriate solution for your installation.
