AlphaESS Smile G3 3.68kW Hybrid Inverter – SMILE-G3-S3.6
The AlphaESS Smile G3 3.68kW Hybrid Inverter is a single-phase DC-AC Solar Inverter. It can be used for DC-coupling, AC-coupling and hybrid-coupling connection and has multiple battery options including 3.8kWh and 10.1kWh battery modules.
It is important to understand that this is a hybrid solar PV inverter and battery storage controller combined. This means it needs to be sized just like a regular inverter would be and, if it is being retrofitted, will replace the existing inverter.
Required Part: The AlphaESS Smile5 inverter does not come with energy meter supplied. Separate AAlpha CHINT DTSU666 Meter needs to be purchased.
Warranty: As per the AlphaESS Warranty document “It is required that all systems have internet connection for monitoring. Systems that are not connected to the internet will have their warranty reduced to 3 years”
