The Fox ESS PowerQ PQ1-10.0 is a 10kW single-phase hybrid inverter module for the PowerQ stackable all-in-one energy storage system. Designed to sit directly above compatible Fox ESS EQ5000-S batteries, it combines solar conversion, battery control, backup capability and connected monitoring in a compact floor-mounted package.

PowerQ Battery Sizing

Every PowerQ system uses 2-6 EQ5000-S battery modules. Each module provides 4.92kWh nominal capacity and 90% Depth of Discharge.

Usable-capacity figures are simple calculations based on the stated 90% Depth of Discharge and are shown for comparison. Actual available energy varies with operating conditions, system settings and conversion losses.

Installation and Monitoring

The PowerQ system is designed as a compact modular stack, with the inverter mounted above 2-6 EQ5000-S battery modules. Integrated configuration and plug-and-play interconnections help streamline installation, while FoxCloud 2.0 provides remote access to live operating data, system status and historical performance through the Fox ESS app or web portal.

Installation, electrical protection, battery assembly, grid connection, export control and commissioning must be completed by a suitably qualified installer in accordance with the current Fox ESS documentation and applicable regulations.

• No EQ5000-M Master battery
• Compatible Fox ESS metering, communication and backup accessories specified for the PowerQ platform

Important: Do not mix EQ5000-S modules with EQ4800, CQ7 or other Fox ESS battery models in the same PowerQ stack unless Fox ESS has explicitly approved that configuration. Confirm firmware, accessory and grid-code compatibility before ordering.
