The Fox ESS EQ5000 4.92kWh Slave Battery (EQ5000-S) adds storage capacity to a conventional EQ5000 system led by an EQ5000-M Master, or connects directly to a compatible Fox ESS PowerQube / PQ1 all-in-one inverter.
- 4.92kWh nominal capacity per module
- 90% Depth of Discharge

- IP65 rated for indoor or outdoor installation
- Flexible dual application for conventional EQ5000 or PowerQ / PQ1 systems
- 12-year manufacturer warranty
Important: The EQ5000-S cannot operate as a standalone battery. A conventional stack requires 1x EQ5000-M Master plus at least 1x Slave. A compatible PowerQ / PQ1 all-in-one system instead uses 2-6 EQ5000-S Slave batteries directly, without a separate Master.
Battery sizing varies by inverter: H1 / AC1, KH / KA and H3 Smart systems support 2-6 EQ5000 batteries; H3 / AC3 systems require 3-6; and H3 Pro supports up to 12 batteries across the supported multi-stack arrangement. Every conventional battery stack requires its own Master.
