The Fox ESS EPS-BOX-SP is a dedicated whole-home backup gateway that keeps your property powered during grid outages. Designed for Fox ESS single-phase hybrid inverters and AC chargers, it automatically switches between grid and backup power for a seamless supply when you need it most.

Fox ESS Integrations

Harness the power of the sun day and night with the ground-breaking Fox H1-G2 3.7kW Hybrid Inverter. This new Gen2 model from Fox ESS is full of advanced features and is compatible the Fox ESS high-voltage battery range.

It is important to understand that this is a hybrid solar PV inverter and battery storage controller. This means it needs to be sized just like a regular inverter would be and, if it is being retrofitted, will replace the existing inverter.

Features of the Fox H1-G2 3.7kw Hybrid Inverter Gen2:

• Uses high voltage Fox ESS batteries
• Can work in parallel with up to 10x inverters in a single system
• Remote monitoring via web portal or smartphone on the Fox Cloud
• Dual MPPT – ensure optimal solar production with multiple strings of solar panels
• High round-trip efficiency of 97+%
• EPS (Emergency Power Supply) inbuilt. Homeowners can keep the power on during power cuts with no effect to the inverter’s output power
• IP65 protection rating – suitable for outdoor installation
• Natural cooling means no noisy fans and wide temperature tolerance
• 10-Year Warranty when registered for free

Whats in the box?

The H1-G2 series is supplied with a Fox WiFi Datalogging Stick for use with the Fox Cloud.  LAN and 4G dataloggers are also available as optional add-ons.

A single CT Clamp is also included in the box. A second CT will be required if there’s another generator set (i.e PV, wind or other).  A meter will be required for >30m distance between inverter and incoming power connection point (sold separately.)

Connect over 40kWh Battery Storage to a single inverter

This inverter is compatible with any Fox ESS High Voltage batteries including Energy Cube, MIRA (HV25) and HV2600 batteries. A total of 9x Energy Cube batteries can be connected to the inverter enabling a total storage capacity of over 40kWh! (Currently applies to EQ4800 only)

The inverter can be installed in parallel with up to 10x inverters and have a a full battery stack connected to each inverter!
