It provides precise import/export energy readings to optimise self-consumption and system performance, making it an essential accessory for Fox installations where the inverter is installed over 30 metres from the main supply.
Note: This model is for single-phase systems only. For three-phase setups, use the Fox ESS DTSU666 meter.

Why do solar panels need shielding from birds?
The yield of the solar panels is reduced when the ventilation underneath is obstructed by branches and nesting material; this is because increased harms the efficiency.
Nesting birds can also deposit their droppings and dirt/debris on the surface of the panels. In some cases, they can interfere with system cabling, as well as cause blockages in guttering and the roof’s drainage system.
It also protects the birds, stopping them getting caught in the wiring amongst other things.
Can I retro-fit this kit to an existing solar array?
Yes! However, please note that BirdBlocker BB125 works best as a preventive measure to prevent nuisance from birds. DO NOT install the BirdBlocker during the breeding period. The birds will do their utmost to get under the solar panels because of their nesting urge. In several countries it is punishable by law to disturb nests during this breeding period.

BirdBlocker Installation Tool
The BirdBlocker Installation Tool is a specially developed tool that makes the installation of BirdBlocker faster and more comfortable. The tool makes it easier to keep the BirdBlocker correctly aligned during assembly, to attach the clips to the panel.
This tool is for the standard panel clips which slide onto the panel profile. Please note that it is not for use with the Trina Vertex panel clips.
Designed for use with the BirdBlocker BB125 or BB200 Pest Protection kits.
Features of the BirdBlocker Installation Tool:
- Using the BB tool takes the strain off your fingers during assembly

The Tigo Access Point (TAP) is Tigo’s latest wireless antenna, allowing wireless communication between the Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) and the TS4 optimisers.
Note: Wireless communication between TS4 Optimisers and TAP and wired RS485 connection between TAP and CCA.
Tigo TAP utilises ‘mesh’ technology which allows each Tigo TS4 optimiser to act as a repeater, extending the range of TAP. The signal and data can hop from TS4 to TS4 along many different paths. As long as the TS4 optimisers are not more than 10m from each other, the TAP total range including ‘hops’ is 35m.
