The Fox ESS CQ7 7.02kWh Master Battery (CQ7-M) starts a scalable Fox ESS CQ7 high-voltage battery system. The Master combines a LiFePOโ‚„ battery module with the system controller / BMS required to manage the complete CQ7 stack.

Fox ESS CQ7 7.02kWh Master Battery – CQ7-M

Build a high-performance, scalable energy storage system with the Fox ESS CQ7 7.02kWh Master Battery. Designed for compatible Fox ESS high-voltage hybrid and AC-coupled inverters, the CQ7 uses safe lithium iron phosphate (LiFePOโ‚„) battery chemistry in a modular, floor-standing design.

The CQ7 Master combines a 7.02kWh battery module with the system controller / Battery Management System required to manage the complete battery stack. Additional CQ7 Slave batteries are connected in series to increase voltage and storage capacity as required.

Important: The CQ7 Master cannot operate as a standalone 7.02kWh system. Every working CQ7 stack requires 1x Master and at least 1x Slave battery, giving a minimum nominal capacity of 14.04kWh.

Compatibility: CQ7 system size depends on the connected Fox ESS inverter. Always check the exact inverter model, firmware and current Fox ESS compatibility guidance before ordering.

How the stacks are built: Every stack requires 1x CQ7-M Master battery, with CQ7-S Slave batteries added to reach the required stack size. Therefore, a two-battery stack contains 1x Master and 1x Slave; a three-battery stack contains 1x Master and 2x Slaves; and a four-battery stack contains 1x Master and 3x Slaves.

Multiple stacks: H3 Pro can support up to two stacks and H3 Plus can support up to three. Each separate stack requires its own Master battery. Larger stacks may require the optional Fox ESS base to split the modules into two columns.
