SolaX Triple Power TP30 Battery Management Unit (BMU) – MC0600
The SolaX TP30 BMU is the control centre for all new SolaX Triple Power TP30 battery systems. It manages communication, balancing, and protection between your SolaX inverter and connected TP30 batteries, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
Each new system requires one BMU and at least one TP30 battery (two for three-phase systems). Systems that already include a BMU do not require an additional one.

SolaX Triple Power 3.0kWh BMU – for SolaX Power TP30 Battery | MC0600
The SolaX Triple Power 3.0kWh BMU (Battery Management Unit) is a core component of the SolaX TP30 battery system. It ensures safe, reliable communication between your SolaX inverter and connected TP30 batteries, managing charge and discharge operations, temperature monitoring, and protection functions.
This unit is required for all new TP30 installations. Each SolaX Triple Power system must include one BMU alongside at least one 3.0kWh TP30 battery (or two for three-phase systems). If you are simply expanding an existing TP30 setup that already includes a BMU, you do not need to purchase another.

The Emlite ECA2 bi-directional generation meter is required for PV installations with hybrid battery storage and to replace existing old meters if DC storage is retrofitted.
For example, if you are replacing a standard SolaX X1 Boost Solar Inverter for a SolaX X1 Hybrid Inverter for battery storage, you must also replace the generation meter for one of these bi-directional meters.
The Emlite ECA2 bi-directional generation meter displays three different readings: Import, Export and Net (import deducted from Export.)
OFGEM guidance says that any DC coupled battery system on a FiT installation which has the ability to charge from the AC (regardless of whether it is set up or not) must have a bi-directional meter installed in order to claim the FiT.
