Fox EP6 5.76kWh Li-ion Battery with Heater – Fox ESS Solar Battery

The Fox ESS EP6 (also branded EP6 Plus) is a 5.76kWh high-voltage battery designed for compatible Fox ESS hybrid and AC-coupled storage systems. Its slimline enclosure can be wall or floor mounted, while integrated battery heating supports operation in colder conditions.

The battery is IP65 rated and provides 90% Depth of Discharge. It can be used as a single battery or combined with additional EP6 units where the connected inverter and current Fox ESS guidance allow.

Compatibility

The EP6 works with selected Fox ESS single-phase and three-phase hybrid or AC-coupled inverters. Compatibility, battery quantity and firmware requirements vary by inverter.

Fox has published cross-generation guidance permitting EP5 and EP6 batteries in the same supported system when the required firmware and commissioning conditions are met. Matching battery models remains the preferred option where practical. Contact The Eco Supermarket before ordering an expansion if the existing battery model or firmware is uncertain.

Monitoring

When connected to a compatible Fox ESS inverter, battery status and energy data can be viewed through FoxCloud 2.0.
