Who is Eurener?

Eurener is a Spanish manufacturer of solar panel modules; they use a highly developed fabrication process, including camera verification of welding, to ensure a high quality and consistency of the panels they produce.

What is an N-Type Solar Panel?

All standard silicon solar panels are composed of silicon wafers mixed with various chemicals to generate power production. An N-Type solar cell uses Phosphorus, whereas a P-Type cell uses Boron.

Traditionally, manufacturers have made solar panels with P-Type cells. However, introducing boron to oxygen can cause the solar cell to lose purity, negatively impacting its efficiency.

Boron is also prone to degradation from light which is known as Light-Induced Degradation (LID). In contrast, Phosphorus isn’t prone to these issues, hence many manufacturers are switching to N-Type for residential solar modules.

TOPCon Technology

The Eurener Nexa 500Wp solar panels features TOPCon technology. This adds a thin oxide layer to the cell composition to further reduce recombination losses and increases the overall efficiency of the module.

Increased Durability and Performance

By using glass as back layer, Eurener have increased mechanical strength and resistance to rust and abrasion for increased durability. The bifacial element also increases rear power generation by more than 10%.
